Phew, I've had an interesting time. Update as follows:
1)Graduated college
2)Working at Midway Games
3)Moving in the morning.
4)Currently filling my 22nd (or so) sketchbook, which is yet unnamed.

The senior animation class short that I was character designer for (which took the whole school year to complete) premiered in Chicago and Cannes Film Festival with pretty good responses. I turned 22, got kicked out of a bar, went to parties, loved and hated, and actually started getting a life. By that I mean in college I was always too busy concentrating on my education, and even before that I had a pretty secluded lifestyle in high school. I blame that on the fact that my home town is pretty much country and no sidewalks. Don't get me wrong, I'm still moderately anti-social and a misanthropist, but I've finally made friends who throw parties that I can easily get to.

Oh, how I love Chicago and and its convenient public transportation.

But that gets me to my next story. I went to a party to escape the hell of packing, and while walking back to my apartment from the train, some guys started shouting to each other. It was actually pretty funny, I thought they were playing some weird form of city tag. That is, until one guy ran ahead of me and fired a shot at the other guys. I'd thought he was holding a water gun until he pulled the trigger. Leave it to me to not realize I was walking in on a gang battle. I'm fine, I just sort of discreetly ducked into the doorway of a nice solid-looking brick building, just in case the other guys decided to fire back. I've lived here since October and never witnessed any gang activity, so it just never popped into my head. I waited a couple minutes after the guy ran off before heading home.

Kinda makes me glad I'm leaving in the morning.
